I have a house to rent or sell. How do I list it on this site?

You must first register as an agent to list a property. To register as an agent, click here and follow the instructions.

I entered my house, now what do I do?

You might want to upload photos first. Your ad will get more interest if you do. We have sign toppers available to place on top of  your for rent sign. You could get a sign topper. If you decide to place a newspaper ad, you can list the website at the bottom of the ad. If you spell the url without the www, it will fit on one Clarion-Ledger ad line and cost about $10 for an additional line, if needed. For example, you could spell the url as follows: JacksonHomeCentral.com.

If you have a house for rent and find a tenant, instead of deleting your listing, you can make it inactive. All your information will be saved for the next time your property becomes vacant. Then you log in and set the status as "active" and change the expiration date. When the expiration date has passed on a listing, the listing becomes "inactive" until you log in and change the status or delete it.

How do I upload photos of my house?

After loading basic information about your property and submitting the information, you will be notified that the information has been stored and you can continue to edit. You must continue to edit the listing to add photos. A link on the left-hand side of the page will allow you to upload photos. Please make sure your photos are web-safe and downloaded easily by potential clients.

How do I find a house to rent or sell?

You have to options for finding a house for rent or sell on this site. You can browse all listings by following the "Browse Listings" link in the main menu or you may use criteria and perform a search by clicking "Search Listings" in the main menu.

How do I save my searches?

To save a search, you must be logged in as a "Member." To become a member, click here.

Once you've registered, you will be able to save searches.

To save a search, follow the instructions below:

• Go to "Search Listings" and perform the basic search you wish to save.
• Once the search has completed, a link will show that says "Save this search and receive updates."
• Click the link to save the search. If you are not logged in, you will be asked for your login information.
• Next, you will be asked to name the Saved Search. Click submit once completed.
• From this point, you will automatically receive updates when a new home is stored that matches your criteria.
